Kyosho has discontinued the USA1 - try eBay for locating parts.

Could be the dogbones. My sons went bad and we got new parts from Tower.

Hi
If you say the axles are turning then that means the gears are okay. But! Do you mean axles (what the tires and rims are mounted to) or the plastic dog bones that drives them? If the dog bones are turning and not making ALOT of chattering noise but the truck does not move. First check to see if you installed the axle pins into the axles before you put the drive hubs on and wrenched on the tires. Next check to see when you give it throttle that the black plastic end bell that the steel/chromed axle is mounted in does not spin, if it does the steel/chrome axle assembly is no good and will have to be replaced. If you need some I can sell you four good used ones. These are REALLY hard to find! I know I've tried. If the dogbones are making alot of chatting noise you might just have to replace those and I believe www.@#%$.com still sell them. If they don't I can sell you 4 that are used but in good shape. Take a real good look at the plastic outdrives coming from the gear boxes if they look rounded where the dogbone splin sits that will have to be replaced as well. I know a hobbyshop that has two complete, brand new, still in bag gear assemblies. I also know another hobbyshop that sells them seperately in a miscellanious parts bin they have. I know, I've seen them. Also check to make sure you have the motors mounted in correctly in the gear boxes. The USA-1 is a bit of a pain to line up the pinion gears with the white counter gear, but once you've done a couple hundred times it's easy! I hope I helped you with your drivetrain problem. If not or need more questions answered email me at chevrolet_olrac@hotmail.com Adam |

My name is Rod the driver of USA-1 in the past, I know that we had a lot of stock with USA-1 R/C's, I'm going to give you the phone # to the shop and you can talk to Everett the owner and maybe we can help you get your truck back together, good luck!
