#1 What kind of charger are you using?
#2 At what amp are you charging it at and how long? #3 Did you run them down before you charged them the first time? (If you did not, that's why it probably only ran for 1 min) NiMh are stored with some charge in them. |

thank u 4 your reply! i use a dynamite twin peak charger. i did run them down be4 i charged them. i have run all my batteries until truck slows down pretty good. and then next time i just charge them. is that wrong 2 do? these new batts dont even warm up when charged and now i have ran them about 5 or6 times and they make my truck run very fast for 2 mins then slows down 2 nothing every time. i think they r lemons! they were very cheap i should have known better! what rc vehicles do u have? send a reply thanks.

Sorry for the delayed response. Your batteries may be bad. Generally, I use a programmable charger and in situations like this, you may just want to make sure that you're charging it around 3.0 - 3.5 amps. That should make it last longer. If you leave the batteries on the peak charger, you need to make suire not to leave it connected for more than 2 hours. It can overload the batteries. Solution: Get new batteries.
I generally run Tamiya electric street cars. I also have a GS Storm (gas) and a HPI RS4-3 (gas). I love my minis also: (Micro RS4, Mini-T, Venom's Mini RC Truck, Tamiya's 1/18 TLT). |
